3:30 in the wards and still can't sleep
Emergency wards are a bad place to try and catch a few winks. I've dealt with about 60 cases with my scrubs since 8 pm yesterday, and I haven't been able to snatch more than a few minutes' worth every now and then. We've had three folk brought in dead, three more too banged up to save, two people with their faces stove in currently on life support, a case of suicidal poisoning, and several heart attacks, strokes, acute stomach bugs, and diabetes cases.
Most of the people who I patched up weren't even the smallest bit grateful. This proves that my profession lost any respect it had amongst these country bumpkins. FML, I don't care anymore. :EmoteOkay:
