And my favorite so far is the 2nd season of The Colony on Netflix.
G'Uhhhhh Yeah.
It's a televised experiment, nobody is getting paid, and real people (including my childhood friends' dad) sign up for this post-apocalyptic experiment. The goal is to survive and escape the city for 2 weeks with no food or water. How and where they'll find it.
Not scripted
Not acted
Real people televised in a real abandoned city
And the only actors are the Raiders, who the Media hires to try and steal supplies, destroy property, and fight the colonists to set them back to square 1.
In the first season, the actors were told they couldn't actually attack the colonists. No injuries, no bruises, etc.
But they never told the Colonists that there would be Raiders.
So when they encounter these Raiders, they think it's another group of people fighting to survive in this city who are also just part of the experiment.
Now, in the 2nd season, the name of the game is "Apocalyptic Infection". How would we survive if there really was a zombie apocalypse?
New group of colonists this time, except if they come in contact with anyone from outside of their colony, they have to quarantine themselves for 24 hours.
Except in this season, they never told the Raiders they couldn't hurt them.
They just said "Steal their food, supplies, etc. By any means necessary. But don't kill them."
So there are a lot of real brutal fights between people.
There's even this priest guy who had a metal pipe and was beating one of the raiders in the knees with it. He had to go to the hospital.
It's all televised
All simulated reality
All just an experiment to see how these guinea pigs would survive in these situations for 2 weeks.
And nobody gets paid.
No script, No actors, just sheer apocalyptic chaos.
THAT SOUNDS FUCKING EPIC! D:
I will definitely watch it after I watch all of the Storm Chasers!
Zombies can't survive in winter due to freezer burn. The moisture in there bones will freeze and then unfreeze with changing temp, thus making them more brittle and that's in the most temperate winter. In extreme cold winters they would keep trying to move while specific parts of themselves are frozen, and pull themselves apart Take that zombie apocalypse theory.
Oooh I never thought of that.
I did figure, however, that they would still be rotting away both inside and out. So After about 2 months of no blood flow, food, water, etc. and just whatever is left of their brain power, any and all access to the brain would cease, and their brain would rot away on its own, or just fuck itself in general.
So survive like...a month or two, and you're good.
Precisely!
Just play Skyrim for 2 months, got it. :D
Easy enough. Haha.
