First thought: Can you get an AA in something?
Second thought: Well its an AS so I guess that can be in something.
Third thought: Congratz
- Molecular Gastronomy ? That is cool :DD
*sexist woman in kitchen joke*
Having that said, congratulations and all that crap.
Neat, Congratz
How long did that degree take? I swear it was only last year you were still in high school.
Congrats though.
She's boss like that. Grats Jenny, you sacrificed a lot of sexytiem for school. Props to you.
:derp:
Gratulations bro. Molecular Cookies, here we go.
Girl .
Sixteen months. I opted for the "please don't give me any summer breaks, take all those damn holiday breaks, and screw snow days and weekends" school. Accelerated program. I literally gave up my life going to school full time and working on the weekends full time. X_X
Now on to opening a small restaurant. Already have meetings set up with counselors for business grants and what not. My business plan is being created. Already have a dedicated business partner/advisor with 15 years under his belt, and another who is just a workaholic that will stand by my crazy side no matter what. I hope to have this being built in full swing by next year, but it may take a little longer. I'm looking at late 2013; early 2014.
Cool :D well good luck , and never forget that you can't be too loose on the "Friends" thing, when it comes to money , you have to be straight. ( Even though i'm not , it's something i'm trying to fix :P)
I have $4000 dollar check for landing in a desert in 5 days.
No, I am saying that is the career path which you decided to take with the intent of financial gain.
I didn't go to school with the intent of financial gain, but educational.
Therefore, that is your job. If you didn't get cut that check SOMETHING would be wrong. Now, wouldn't it?
I'm hoping my school might introduce some basic molecular gastronomy. I've seen the kits for it online, seems fascinating.
That sounds awesome. I saw a video online of a drink, made like bubble tea, but with the molecular gastronomy kit. Something like cucumber and basil.
You're making me that molecular shit when I get there on thursday.
Wait... You get $2000 when you get a perfect attendance?
Yes, and they make it near impossible to get.
You can't miss any days at all, including LOA's (leaves of absencses that excuse you from taking a class). You can't be late/leave early. You have to have 100% attendance hours. You can't miss any hours. If you were 1 minute late, you were docked an hour. You miss 3 hours of a class, you failed that class. It was hell. I am the second person to have 100% attendance.
