Go to the page. Enter it in address bar, hit enter.
I already tried that..
Javascript: DO SHIT (In address bar)
If it doesn't work, the website is XSS protected.
Also, that's Jquery, does the website use Jquery?
There may be an error in the javascript. Its hard to debug javascript like this because it wont tell you anything. It just wont work.
