survive geometry/math but still get a high grade?
Help me.
:C
Be smarter.
Cheat, alot.
@Smith:
._.
I do well on english, history and all that other shit. Just no MATH.
@Bradley:
It's against my morals <//3
LOL
well, i do, sometimes :/
Get a TI-81 graphing calculator. Those things are fucking magical when it comes to math.
We are not allowed to use calculators
.-.
FFF-
Be nice to the teacher and have them like yoh enough to give you a good grade thats what i do :)
Study. The key to math is practice of the concepts.
@Taz:
I dont wanna be one of those students who kiss up to their teachers and look all stupid and stuff.
No offense c:
@Coffin:
,_. But i dont really see the point of studying shitty branches of MATH.
Like srsly, WTH. ; - ;
Im not saying to be the teachers pet but just to be nice to them. You must go to a shitty school :P
I am nice to my teachers.
And no. The problem is..everyone is nice at our school
@_@
so it won't be anything special if i'd be nice to them or anything :U
Ok, if you're not willing to do the work to do better in the class then don't bitch and ask for help. Geometry is kind of important in real life. People use it to build things, understand space and distance, and it also teaches basic logic concepts. You want to buy and lay carpet you need geometry, want to know if that table will fit in that room, want to know how far point a is from b, want to be able to not fail the next math class you have to take? Geometry.
All im saying is it's not really important for ME
cus there's a big difference between
GEOMETRY
and my own LOGIC.
that's why i dont really see the point of studying this shit :c
but oh well, that's life i guess </3
Public school logic = You learned something, you pass. Grade on papers dont matter.
Unless your going to a private school or magnet school, and your in the USA, you will graduate.
im not in a public school and i dont live in the usa.
._.
I passed geometry with a 102% in the class.
I got straight A's this year.
Also, Aleena, people have gotten scholarships for being from a certain state/country. He has a chance. A moderator on a site I moderate got a scholarship from just being born in Ohio.
Repeat until you have it memorized. :P
smarty pants >_>
i had 15 missing assignments and still passed with a B :) all i did was do good on tests/quizes
woah.
._.
that's the problem.
I dont do good with quizzes x.x
im afraid to get caught for cheating
and my nerdy classmates dont let me cheat <_<
Fuck yeah, Geometry.
Chords are any line stretching through the circle, without touching the middle.
Arcs are 2 to 3 points (2 = minor/semicircle, 3 = major) along the outside of the circle.
A radii is any line that goes from the inside of the circle, to the outside from the middle of the circle.
Any angle that starts in the middle of a circle will create an arc that contains the same amount of degrees, relative to the outside of the circle.
Every chord defines an arc. If two chords are identical, the arcs are identical.
If two angles from the middle of the circle are identical, the chords and arcs that their respective radii describe are also equal.
If you start an angle inside a circle, against the wall, and protrude outwards to the opposite of the circle, the arc defined by this angle will be twice the value of the angle that describes it.
Tangents are lines that come from outside the circle, to touch the circumference at a 90 degree angle. The best way to visualize tangents, is by drawing a square around a circle.
