Please help, who here is really good with restoring difficulties for laptops and such.
What difficulties.
YES DEFY!
Anyways I get the BSOD every time i boot up.
I get Safe Mode
Safe mod with networking.
etc.
etc.
etc.
Start windows normally.
All of them give me BSOD.
And reboot a never ending process.
I tried to do a system restore ( Pressing F3 ) And it quits while trying to start it.,
It says
( Please don't press any key while this is in progress )
Theres no bar or anything.
Stays there for like 5 mins and does nothing.
Laptop reboots.
Restarts total process.
Any idea what i can do?
I tried calling some tech company they didn't know ):
Sounds like some system32 files are missing.
Best bet is to do a full system format.
I say you should give up on laptops.
Let me look/think of something.
Sounds like a damaged boot sector. You might need to zero that drive completely.
Zeroing a drive is pretty much like a format, only difference is instead of prepping the 1 to be overwritten with another file, zeroing does exactly what it says, it completely changes all of your drives 1s to 0s. 1s representing the data on your computer. Here's a link detailing how to zero a drive. So wait, you said you can use USBs on your computer if you cant do cds and floppys?Zeroing a Hard Drive
Tori: Any idea how much an external cd drive costs?
Thats a hard drive not CD Drive =O
Depends, just cd burning? No Dvd burning?
Thanks tori, now I gotta break the news to my mom and order the thing >_>
Check at your local hardware retailers before ordering from newegg. There's a chance that they have a basic external cd drive for cheaper.
Would Best Buy be a place to check
Im not american bro, no idea.
Newegg or Frys would be cheaper then Best Buy.
Right sorry tori.
And how much cheaper?
Probably not more then a few dollars.
