What are the Dimensions of a regular webpage (such as this one) in width? :)

This one adjusts to resolution.

The width only matters. Go ahead and go with 600 horizontal. Although you would be safe with 768 horizontal pixels.

I defiantly just reversed that. 800 is the best. 1024 is the max to go without getting annoying.
