Selling old games

Anyone do that? I was always a game hoarder. I've kept every game I've ever owned until this point. Just unloaded all my oldies for $250 -- a collection spanning SNES, Gen, every GameBoy console, DS, N64, PS2, and Wii. Kept my rarities and sentimentals. Chrono Trigger going with me to the grave.

But ultimately, I lost point in keeping them. I can have them all on a flash drive. Why am I taking up so much space in my house for that? Crazy. As pretty as they are, and as much as I'll miss them. I prefer the idea of recycling -- someone else getting joy out of them, and them being more than just a trophy on my mantle. Albeit I really really hope they don't end up in a scrapyard somewhere.

Got stacks of old games, They just sit at my parents house.

I could probably flip my psp games, but i doubt they're worth much.

With the state of emulators isn't pretty silly to keep them around except for sentimental reasoning.

I think i'll keep my original ffx.

I was surprised how much they sold for. Only shit like NFL '94 would sell for a quarter. I got >$1 for most games, and I'd gladly rather have $1 and a ROM than a physical copy that I know I'll never do something with. It's really more about recycling to me, I guess. I want someone else to play the game -- I want the game to be played. If I ever play Spiderman again, it won't be on that console; it'll be on an emulator. Why have the game then? Just taking up space. The money is a nice thing on the side, but I'm glad someone now has them who will take care of them as I did.

The guy wouldn't stop going on about how good condition it was all in. :D
