I know people that have bought gold yeeeears ago and got banned just now.
As I said, matter of time, wether it's 10 days or 10 years.
Of course, you could be lucky, but as soon as your account has literally anything to do with some sort of suspicious activity, it's going to be investigated and probably banned.

So you're saying they bought gold 4 years ago, and got banned without having bought any new gold?

Highly doubtful. Months, possibly. Years? No.

In the case I ever raise some cash hehe, are there any tips on how to move the goods, maybe at least some basic tips of stuff you should avoid doing? =P

I help all of my customers with issues like that, typically there are very specific procedures for any given scenario. General tips don't really apply.
