That doesn't really have anything to do with the amount of difficulty it'd take to "hack" the site in question. In theory, anything connected to a network or otherwise the internet is vulnerable. Whether the hacker is able to break into it or not is a different matter.
@OP: Gaia is still a vulnerable site. Just for the most part past "hacks" and exploits don't work as it stands. If you dispute it, go ahead and prove it wrong otherwise.
I know at least a handful of fairly adept programmers who are still limited in what they can do to the site in general now. Face the simple fact that Gaia's security is increasing. Old exploits and such were spawned by bad developers. Gaia has done quite a bit of auditing and revamping since then.
