If using Firefox, instead of targeting Firefox, target "plugin-container.exe" or whatever the title of the plugin container for Firefox is called. If targeting Chrome, you have to target the chrome.exe that contains plugins or maybe it's the one containing the tab you've got the game you're targeting open. I'm not sure which. You're doing it wrong. I don't think it's possible to patch something like speed gear since it doesn't abuse a problem in Gaia. I won't go deeper into how this could be "patched" because I'm tired and I don't feel like going in depth. If you want details on something that probably doesn't matter to you, feel free to ask.
