So gaia is instituting some new security measures. One of them being that when you change an email it sends a verification email to the old address. The second measure being that users get a notice about any new ips accessing that account, however its an optional feature.
So what does this mean to the gaia account market?
Obviously now the email used to lock down an account has to be traded with said account.
Y'alls thoughts?
The email thing is gonna piss me off.
It's like cracking steam accounts now. You can't change the email. :(
Are they really just now implementing that? I thought people were talking about that like, back when I quit? Like, a year ago+?
I was under the impression it only sent emails to the user to let them know, doesnt really say hey click here and you can stop this
