i think they ban anything that has the same ip address cause i botted with one account and discovered later that 4 others that were inactive got banned
It's probably inactive BECAUSE IT GOT BANNED.
Which is the reason why it's hard to find inactive WORKING accounts.
My whole inactive list is probably taken by now because everyone wants inactive accounts.
By inactive I mean they were not logged in -since i've made them- for just 2 weeks .. Moreover, they've not sent the "you got banned" email.

Well if its not IP then they must have ban you for some random reason as in the ToS states that they can ban you for anything at anytime.
Gaia reserves the right to ban your ass because they want to. They have no reason to give a reason.
It is your choice to be a part of the site, they can remove you at any time. You got banned for suspicious activities. They saw it as suspicious, it was inactive, they assumed no one was coming back for it, banned it before it got "hacked."

Um, that's complete bullshit, they won't ban an account for being inactive, I had taken over 15B on inactive accounts, all unbanned. Just letting shit sit is all you can do once you take from inactive accounts. But if they noticed it came up with a totally new IP (etc..) then they banned it for being compromised, which they do not e-mail you for(if they do it's rare).Quote:

So if you're running a proxy and you let your account go inactive, will it end up becoming banned?
Well there are multiple reasons an inactive may have been banned.
First off, there's what that one guy said about transferring gold. A mule is alright, but if you transfer event items and stuff it's against TOS.
Second, there's the cookies thing that Nova doesn't want to believe, but multiple UG members have confirmed. If you're botting with an account and get banned, they keep a cookie in your browser, if you try to log into another account with the cookie still active, that account will get banned as well.
Third, there's the small possibility that someone may have hacked you.
Fourth, you may have botted right before you left, gotten banned a bit after, and didn't realize it until you tried recently.
