Idk, I think when your a really old member on there (2003-2005) mods and admins think your less likely to bot or sumtin like that
Not exactly. If an account from 03-05 suddenly is revived in activity again after so long, suspicion would appear. Usually means an account was cracked. However this isn't bounded to accounts from 03-05, it accounts for all years. But the year is not directly related to bannings, however it could be a factor in finding someone who needs to be banned.
Yeah I've noticed that when my older accounts get botted items etc ...they don't usually get banned. yet if a fairly new one does it almost always gets banned. This might not be the case for other people though. :/
yes the year banned you if you make a account today and by the day you get to buy tp they will banned you they will say u pass phish and bot
I think so if the account was just made and had items that are worth mills they will ban it.
If it was made years ago and with items that are worth mills they will have a second thought.
Yes i would think so
An old member before banning gaia would have a second thought
[but after being reactivated after along time does make rates of banning go up]
new accounts do get banned faster [ this is info i grab from reading peoples botting experiences]
Not really.
I had two accounts at the same time that I was botting on.
One was an '03, one was an '09.
I started botting on the '03 first, about a week prior to the '09.
The '03 was banned first, after about a month of botting. The '09 was banned a couple of days later.
The accounts were not affiliated with each other.

it might also depends on the number of posts too
I guess it varies from person to person but i have an 04 account as my main that i cracked and yeah i,ve gotten many hacked things
ive had it for 3 years
No, it doesn't affect the way you get banned. Some of the mods MIGHT suspect something, but not do anything about it. Other than that. No.
Ignoring every post in this thread, I shall post my opinion, which seems quite believable.
How many Gaia users are there?
How many new users are created a DAY?
There are say 10k active 2003 accounts left, active meaning once a week or more. Don't you think that the 10k of those would be easier to track, than say 100k new users a week?
I mean sure, I'm over estimating, but I'm sure you get the point. New accounts are less trustworthy, yet an old account starting to do a lot of big trades when it use to have next to none, is a little suspicious, don't you think?
Random account with zero posts and only a TP doing lots of trades is quite hard to track. Especially if they are through gifts. They are harder to track down.
Regarding the above post see that it is willingly fitting that i add my opinion.... not a part of the discussion...
i do believe that the newness of an account matters, but the oldness of an account does not.... for instance...
A week old account suddenly becomes excessively rich... a old account is just normal watched, not under-watched, however a rich account, will not be as suspicious, i would write more but i must go....
two cents added
To me I think it varies on there situation !
I really don't think so. I had an account from 05, one 06, a couple 07s, and the rest 10, and they all eventually got banned. They weren't all connected either.
But I do agree that it's easier to track older accounts than the thousands of new ones.
They use activity moniters, it tracks everything you do.
They also have a flag system, which is something like a "chance of hacking" monitor, what it watches for is amount of activity compared to previous logs, amount of trades, amount of gifts, and more. If the system thinks that you have been to active compared to past logs, it will add a flag, if you say trade one item over multiple accounts within a short amount of time the system see's that and flags you. If you are voting in arenas for 40 hours straight the system see's that.
If you don't believe me, go get access to moddog, I've viewed a few of these logs and you would be amazed at the amount of information they log.
Yes i think that the year does count (i'm talking about botting) as when you are on an older account they probably think you are an experienced member and know how to get the money fast now. But if its new, you would probably get banned in a couple of days.
