Also, in an informative or persuasive essay it is very important to give SPECIFIC examples to win over your readers. The goal here is to make people believe that Christopher colombus was a bad man. Just saying he abused his powers and never gave the condemned a chance isn't very persuasive. When was he ever given the opportunity to sentence someone to their fate? Who specifically did he unjustly put in jail (or whatever you were talking about, it wasn't very clear).

And you've got a bad case of "pardon my french". (What? did i really say that god i am stupid >_<) But it really makes me look away when i see stuff like "He was way wrong" or "for pulling crap like that."
