traktor kontrol s4 sound problem

Hello,

I just got this s4 couple days ago. And everytime I mess with it like 5 minutes into mixing some songs its gets really staticy sounding. I turned some stuff on/off in my sound settings didn't do anything. I am getting my sound out of my laptop Gateway FX and just using the basic cords that came with the kontrol s4. And this only happens when I'm using the traktor s4 program.

Please help.
