Well that's a nice opinion, but I do like dubstep. Dunno why, it just makes me happy, excited, chill, or mellow.
Just, FYI to make it sound less offensive, rude, childish and immature, you should change this thread to "What do you think about dubstep"
I dont like it, but I don't think it sucks. I do think that it has been over hyped
I like it because there are a lot of different genres within dubstep.
So it's hard to say you hate dubstep because it doesn't all sound the exact same
I've never really understood as what qualifies as dubstep, I do like a few tracks that sound like dubstep but I'm not really sure.
But I don't like the kind Skrillex makes, it hurts my ears :(

It's hard to get into but once you realize the bass is better in dubstep than rap, your ignorance will cease to exist.
Your first mistake is thinking it only came in the last couple years.
It's been around and widely crazy popular since the late 90s.
What you're referring to is Skrillex and all the other "Brostep" artists that produce, just that.

Which is pretty much Electro House / Dubstep aimed at kids with "Obey" flipcaps and Osiris shoes who use the word "#SWAG" and "YOLO" in their facebook descriptions and posts.
Dubstep, real dubstep, is the most incredible lucid emotionally provoking thing I've ever heard. It was originally created with the intent to take you on a trip or tell a story, setting emotions that you not only hear, but you can feel.
