Searching for a certain type of Anime?

This actually happens to be a specific Manga, but maybe you'll be able to help me:

All I remember about it was that the main character had a huge pistol that shot beams of darkness or something of that sort, and I'm pretty sure he had an upside-down cross on the back of his coat.

Can anyone help? It would be greatly appreciated, I remember I used to be obsessed with the manga, and have been trying to find it again for the past few years. I'm pretty sure I had seen it on MangaFox, back when that site was still around.

Alright! Sorry for the wait.
I spent the better part of an hour looking for this character and the description but I just cannot seem to land a hit.

I know what you mean, I can't find any trace of the character either! It's so annoying, it was such a great manga too.
