Comparison Poem

The calm sensation of serenity is the sweet, crisp grass in the morning,
Which gives the warmth of coffee, readying the day for exploring.

Changing colors from brown to green while flowing into the dawn’s breeze,
It grows tall in a dessert oasis and graces the shades of trees.

Holding the day break’s sweet dew on its fantastic blades of life,
It stands tall in the treacherous rain and thunder, a part of its long strife.

Inspiring the tiny creatures in these masses of hope and joy,
These pieces of Earth symbolize the strength of man and his kindness when once a boy.

Nothing can defeat this entity’s hope, well-being, and determination
Not even the wind, sleet, snow, or the traffic of a grand train station.

However, there is a weakness in this illustrious and powerfully small pyre,
The trample and grand rage of every diligent wildfire.

Nevertheless, the ashes of this tragedy will not be the only thing left standing!
Oh no, a new bud will emerge to symbolize life’s new landing.

The poem is nice i feel. It gives the clear picture of the nature around you and what you can do with to it. I am not a good judge. The rhyming is nice though there is a bit of problem in the first stanza. Still the words are impressive and the meaning makes itself clear in no time a short but great poem. Its crisp and to the point

It's nice. Good use of words, and descriptions... but it's really cliche. Which takes away from it.
